So, my name is Simon and I'm your English Teacher this semester. I'm British. I was born in Wales, but form the age of 6 I lived in England. My family on my mother's side is Irish so I'm a bit of a mix. I have 5 sisters and 3 brothers who all live in the UK except for my brother Adrian who lives in New Zealand. I've lived in Chile since 1998 but spent 2019 to 2022 in China.. I'm married to a Chilean and we have two cats - Goku & Aiko. My hobbies are playing football and making music. My hopes and dreams include releasing more music (I've released 5 albums and 2 maxi singles so far this year - check them out on Spotify!!!!) and travelling. I would love to go and vist all my friends in China:)

    Wow it's amazing the different places and countries you've lived in. What have you liked the most about each of the countries you've lived in? And which one of these places or countries has been your favorite?

      It's always interesting meeting new people from different cultures. I guess my age affected my perception of each place. China is still fresh in my mind. I met some lovely people there and visited some amazing places like Shangri-la and the Great Wall.

      I guess the people. I visited some amazing places, ate some truly wonderful food, but the people we met were so wonderful and helped make it a magical experience.

      The food is amazing. My wife and I are vegan (we were vegetarians when we arrived in China) but we found some amazing dishes based on tofu or mushrooms (there are lots of varieties). The fruit & vegetables are also wonderful.

    1. Maybe the diversity of it's landscape (they are majestic both North & South). 2. Liverpool & I don't currently follow Chilean football. The last side I followed was La U de Chile 2011 (It was a great side).

      The food has a very special role in society and life in general. I´m vegan so I tried a smaller range of dishes but they were amazing, especially because they have a huge variety of delicious dishes with tofu or mushrooms.

 Good Morning Blogheads! Today I'd like you to write about a job you'd like to do. Actually, I'd done a lot of jobs in my time. When I was a young boy I did several part time jobs. A Little Bit of Chile

Hi FAU Bloggers, As you might have guessed by now, I'm what's known in good Chilean as "pati-peri." However, aside from having been lucky enough to visit some amazing countries in my long life, I have also visited some amazing places in Chile. I travelled Chile from Arica to Aysen so I still have a third of the teritory left to discover. Today I'm going to write about a place in Chile I really enjoyed visiting and that I'd like to visit again: Malalcahuello.  I visited Malalcahuello in 2007 when one of my sisters was visiting from the UK. My sister arrive towards the end of February.  A few days after she arrived, and along with my wife, we decided to embark on a spontaneous road trip south. We packed up a tent and all our camping gear and headed South. We spent a night in Chanco, a couple of nights in Cobquecura and a night in Curacautin before arriving in Malalcuhuello.
